U, the office was flooded again this morning after a night of heavy rain. The freeholder has done nothing about the drains. There isn't much I can do except have it pumped out again.
I must watch V is for Vendetta Z. If you are coming to the UK, I recommend Brighton.

Depending on where its coming from there are a few things that can be done to protect your property. Some insurers will also consider covering installation as part of any remedial works.
The environment agency has good resources and if you Google 'flood toolkit' or 'property level flood protection' you'll find all kinds of useful information.
Regardless, you should report both instances to the council (county or unitary depending where you are) they are required to investigate recurring flooding (beyond a threshold) and if appropriate take enforcement action.
I hope the damage isn't too bad.
