Was offered a part-time editorial position with a weekly newspaper just north of Asheville. Being considered for two other full-time positions.
Haven't received d papers yet. They were supposed to arrive on Monday. Asked Matt and he hasn't received anything either.
Reached out to a coop in Asheville for homeschoolers. The group has around 10 teens. It's the most hopeful I've felt with D12 in quite awhile.
Still can't wrap my head around how to get from A to B... or from Canada to Asheville... but it's making more sense every day.
I'm going to come up with a new mission statement. Apparently, earning $50,000 isn't going to solve all the problems. We have other needs, like people. Support. Friends.
Strange though? I reached my goal of earning $50K AND getting a new, safe car to drive.

And, realizing, now that the fog is clearing, how utterly wrong this current job is for me right now. More about single-parenting and the demands of the job than my abilities.
Trying to trust God will show the way. Just gotta keep putting myself out there. Ugh. Scary, but do-able.
Waves of sadness continue. But, I'm having some moments where I feel "FREE" and that's wonderful. I keep having this fleeting feeling that the life I want is simply a matter of "Doing it." Just do it.

The divorce papers will be in your hand this week. It takes a while for them to process them and get them out to the people involved. It took me two weeks before I got mine and I live in the "country" of slow life.
If you are being considered for two fill time positions, then I would hold off on the part time job. Part time work generally doesn't provide for health care...make sure you have health care in the next job, if you go south. Ask them about who they are with in that area.
If you are meant to go to Ashville, you will find a way to do so.
Now, it's time to sit down and figure out what you goals are for the coming year.

I know that you are worried about D12, but these little meltdowns are getting more and more frequent. So, what's her meltdown about today? Maybe it's time that you and your D12 have a sit down meeting and find out just exactly what is going on w/her. She's old enough now to understand that meltdowns will not always get her way and she has to learn how to control them. Is it hormonal?

If she depressed, then it's time to seek some professional help for her. You can't help her w/her depression. She needs to be working w/a professional and possibly put on meds.
