Hey Eirinn,

You're welcome! You wanna know something? You always make me smile, too. smile

Regarding the trip, of course you're going to be nervous. I would be, too, and I think anyone on this forum would be as well.

I like your plan: "keep up my PMA and stay light and breezy." That will help...you'll get thru this fine if you can stick to that.

I will say a prayer for you right now. Best of luck to you.

*Hugs* and a polite kiss on the cheek. grin

E,

Have a great time with the trip!!! Focus on the little one.

Careful of triggers that have started fights in the past. You are right on the just keeping positive...it will help making good memories on this trip

I need to STFU. When I'm nervous I talk more.

I believe duct tape was the preferred STFU aide for DB'rs all over the world.

Dear Eirinn,

Being a HUGE hockey fan, that is one of my favorite songs. LOL

Zephyr recommended duct tape. What's your favorite color? wink

I hope that brought a smile on your face. Let us know how the trip went when you have time.

Many *Hugs* your way.

Bob

Matt, Zephyr, and Bob, thank you so much for the supporting words and thoughts. They helped! I noticed I was babbling when I saw a half eye roll from my H. I just needed to remember how to detach and still enjoy the day as a family. I think it went really well, and I even got my H to laugh once. So a good day except for cell phone check ins that my H did. Not as many as normal though.

Then we get home, my S is very tired after being in the sun all day and my H gets into a power struggle with him....a three year old. S gets upset enough to cry until he gets sick. I offered to help clean up while I'm silently fuming. Later, I told my H, "that must have been frustrating for you." He said it was fine and went to bed.

I kept up my PMA though!

I've gotten into plenty of power struggles with my almost 3 yr old. There's just no winners when they get THAT tired.

Glad you had a pretty good day all around!

I'm glad the day over all was good! I'm sorry your precious little boy got so tired.

I admire your strength Eirinn, keep up that PMA. That's my struggle right now.
