My old thread was about to lock, I'm opening Part 12 of the RPP saga. I have changed the name entirely, because yes, I was blindsided, but that's no longer relevant. What I do from here forward is the important part.

I decided to offer it to him. But I haven't yet. I will either add it to next week's calendar email or bring it up in person at Christmas. (Although it's hard to get a private conversation with three other people in the house. Talking in bed is not an option!)
I went to see the surgeon this afternoon, scheduled the surgery for mid-January. I texted H the date, didn't ask anything of him at all, just sending information. His reply was to ask if he should plan on staying at the house a few days. Yes, please, that would be handy. Things are going to be ok.

And thanks to everyone else for the positive vibes you are sending my way. I am more than ready to have this surgery over and done with, it's something my dr suggest a few years ago, I just wasn't ready. But I am now. And labug, I'd love to have you as my home health care. Come on over, dear.
Last night D12 and went to a basketball game and had a great time. Sadly, the Heat lost. Again.
This morning, D12 wanted to make waffles and she also created a topping and a frosting for them, so that they were basically giant cinnamon rolls. H was coming to pick her up, D12 asked if dad could stay for waffles. The teens rolled out of bed just in time and we all had a nice breakfast together. The house looked and smelled good, the Christmas tree is beautiful, we had music on while we were cooking and eating. A nice breakfast.
I played a dirty trick, though, I made sure that a really great pair of shoes I have and a really great underwear set was visible in the bathroom, looking as if I had carelessly thrown them there after taking them off. I know H saw it. He may or may not give a flip, but it amused me a great deal to do it. Maybe I should go back to high school.
I have a lot of errands to take care of today. Hope everyone else has a great day!
