Wishing everyone and especially newcomers a blessed Thanksgiving. The holiday. s can be very difficult. I remember it well. The feeling of nothingness. Who cares? I lost everything..I miss them..So very painful..Very easy to become depressed, hopeless, and helpless. What worked for me? I pushed myself to be with friends and family. To enjoy the holidays in a different way and accept it. Not easy to do after 25.

Tomorrow marks my 4th Thanksgiving without my family. I still miss those days.

Know that you will survive this period. Will enjoy life and be happy again.

Happy Thanksgiving smile

Happy thanksgiving rick my buddy. Today is also what would have been my 21st wedding anniversary. Oh well, remember and be glad for good times past, but what matters more are the good times here and to come.

I'm enjoying walking thru snowy woods around my home, then i'm going to play my guitar for awhile, then dinners with my fam and friends. Oh and a bodycombat class at the gym. And wine. Cheers to you!

Yes, Peaceful Thanksgiving.

Even in the midst of these difficult days, we can find something to be grateful for.

I know "happy" may be a relative term to many of us here, but I do wish you and everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

One silver lining in my sitch is that it has forced me to focus on all that I have to be thankful for, and the list is still pretty long. I added a new item to the list this year, and that's this forum and all the posters on it. They've become friends to me, even though I'll never meet them in real life.

I am still new around these boards, but the great advice and support I have received in my short time here has been tremendous. I truly wish you all a happy holiday and hope that everyone, no matter what your situation, is able to stay strong today and look at all that you have to be thankful for.

Good luck all.
