Barb is Florida that bad? GF and I have talked about moving there. I have been to Disney 3xs but not seen Florida. Im tired of the cold and snow and the expense of my state. We are probably taking a rd trip and check the west coast.

I adore Florida! If I was a US citizen - I'd be living here. But I really do prefer the summer's up north so I'm lucky to be able to live in both places.
My first visit to Florida was as a teen (engaged) with my family & fiancé. My dad felt we should see the entire state so we would know where we would like to come back to so we started in Ocala, visited the main Gulf coast cities, over to Miami, Cape Canaveral & ended with Disney. I loved it all.
Lots of funky things go on in Florida. Mostly laughable. I find the people friendly - I just don't care for snakes so I do my best to avoid them (& gators)
