1. I'm with my S18 on our "bucket list" trip in NYC
It could stop there and be awesome.
2. I got the job I was really really hoping for...less than a mile from my home with awesome people.
It could stop THERE and still be awesome.
3. S18 and I just happened to be in NYC at the same time as Foo Fighters....oh, yes.
I SAW DAVE GROHL 3 FEET AWAY IN PERSON AND GOT VIDEO AND THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!
S18 got pics with band members, chatted with bass player, you, know....they're buds now.
I can't sleep. Today was off the charts. (Happy dance ensues...... )
Little moments in life can be really big, ya know???

I have had a terribly emotional day... two days actually and I am spent. My heart aches so badly I'm not totally sure it's still beating and my soul feels like it's been ripped out through my toe nails but your Hakuna Matata thread has helped me wipe the tears and turn on a light in the room. LOL
I know wiping tears and turning on a light don't sound like super big things but when you're low, they're big. Really big so thank you for that.
Is it weird that I kind of want to be you when I grow up? Ss grows up into sparkly Shining. Ahhh, that would be great!
Seriously though, I need your mindset right now so badly. Your positivity, clarity, fun, energy and detachment is everything I need right now. How do you do it? And then how do you do it again tomorrow? And the next day? How?

I was sad leaving the city today. Getting to hug a few new friends for real....priceless. Fun, fun, fun night last night....omg ready to go back again. I can't remember the last time I laughed and got silly like that. I can't remember the last time I stayed up so late for FUN! (Wait....What happens in NYC, stays in NYC, right???? )
This trip was so needed. S18 and I had a blast. I didn't think about H as much as I would back home, so that was a nice break and distraction. We are completely NC now for almost a week. New record, I believe.
