So Im trying to figure out my 180's. You see my excessive Drinking (nightly) and Tobacco use (dipping) are/were most of the reason my wife dropped the D bomb. I told her Soooo many times I would quit but they were Empty Promises.

I have to say she gave me the biggest wake up call of my life (and part me has to thank her) as I stopped Drinking and Dipping. Both Excellent choices and I feel happier and healthier.

Below are my 180's

1. Not Drinking Anymore
2. Not Dipping
3. Trying to be more Patient with her/kids. I could loose my temper quickly
4. Trying to be more attentive and truly listen to my W and her feelings, etc
5. No more empty promises. If I say im going to do something, DO IT,

There is good support at Alcoholic Anonymous for the drinking issues. Also we have a DB coach that is an expert in dealing with addictions, in additions to helping you get your marriage on track. I hope you can take advantage of both of these options. Take good care.
