Deepen your faith my friend. Pray for wisdom and guidance to handle any an all situations. Build a relationship with Jesus. What you need is association, get in that word everyday. There are people that don't even have water that comes out of a faucet today. It's a great day today.

A point someone made to me a while back is that prayer is a spiritual weapon. When we pick up a weapon its typically because someone is trying to hurt us. This is part of a spiritual battle against our souls. IMO, there is sometimes a view that prayers is like a menu. We ask for what we want and expect it to be brought to us. A better image may be that prayer is actually a sword or shield (put on the full armor of God). And when we pick it up, we use it to fight through attacks, strikes against us and other traps that evil forces have placed against us. I made the comment about the "menu" before I read the thread so I hope you don't think it was directed at you because it is not. Your concerns are real. I struggle with them too. I don't have the answers to why some see God's answers so clearly and some don't. I wonder many times why my marriage has not been restored yet either. But I do believe that God is working not only on me but on my W as well. You can't just pray for things to change and expect them to change. You have to pray for the help to change them and god will show you ways and show you things to do. You just have to be open to accepting them. If you are here, on DB, it is a great thing. I believe god led you here because he knew that you needed more help and support! I had been praying for help and feeling so longely then I stumbled onto DB as well, it has been a blessing for me.
