My daughter found a fortune (from a fortune cookie) I keep in my truck. It says."God will help you through any hardship." She asked me, "What about the divorce? Wasn't that a hardship?" I couldn't tell her, "He's not one yet." (I refuse to lessen their mother in their eyes.) When my wife and I are reunited, I'm gonna frame that fortune and give it to my little girl wink

Give us a more detailed update about your sitch. Sounds like you're just relying strictly on God and that usually doesn't work on it's own.

It does work if you truly rely on Him. As far as an update, I've moved past the LRT. Partially. I rarely initiate contact and I don't open up with all my daily plans and feelings. But the withdrawing most of the way, wasn't working. she knows I haven't given up. Mostly, I focus on being me. That's who she fell in love with. And I ultimately have to be happy with living with myself. No matter what happens. So, I'm being me. Fun-loving, sarcastic and responsible. She still occasionally believes it's an act (can't really blame her, don't know what happened to me). But my friends and family recognize me. smile And I figure, even if she thinks I'm faking it, this is me. Take it or leave it. I would prefer she take it. But like I said, at least I won't have to live with a me I don't like.

Roy:
I am truly inspired by your conviction and your faith. I too hold faith in God that he has a plan for me and I trust in that every day. It's been a roller coaster of emotions for me this last 5 months. I've felt like a yoyo at times when H doesn't know what he wants...me and our family or OW...Since I've moved out, he's been hurting and wants us home, but I'm so scared that he will still continue the EA with OW and that I will get hurt again, but I do believe God will let me know what my next step should be. I pray for you and your family and hope you get to go home where you belong with your wife and kids...

Is a little shaken at the moment. Not by anything she or I did. Not even sure how to describe it. Just shaken....

Just realized I haven't posted in 3 months. I've been very busy. I moved into a new place that's closer to my kids. Been getting it fixed up and haven't gotten internet. My wife comes by about 2x a week of her own accord. Not sure if it's an improvement for us or not. But I do love to see her. Still workin the long night shift. Still improving me. I still suffer from selfishness. Still want my marriage. Still working for it.

Good Luck Roy! seems like you have been hanging in for a long while. It's been about a year for me and it's been tuff. W has stated twice she wants a dissolution most recently 2 weeks ago. I continue to pray and work on me I sure hope things turn around for me like they have you.

So, the other day at work, I had an accident that removed the tip of my finger. I'll be fine. I had to go about 60 miles to see a hand specialist. She not only drove me there. She also made arrangements to stay overnight down there (surgery was the next day). I admit, I wasn't sure how I was gonna manage to get there, but I didn't ask for help either. She just decided that this is how it was going to be done. She wouldn't accept no for an answer. Like I was gonna say no. That's all for now smile

This song means so much to me: Courageous by Casting Crowns. Look it up. Listen to it. Live it. One song can change your life. If you let it.
