Let Go Let God (LGLG) http://www.dailyword.com/topics/letgoletgod.html

Well, I decided to start a new thread as I want to concentrate on myself and our kids.

Here are my previous threads

Some of things I have been doing lately:
I’m still on pace to finish the Bible in 90 days and completed my second week of training to reach 100 pushups. Still walking almost everyday and sometimes with friends; Bike riding a couple of time a week and lifting weights again at the gym in my building at work.

Enjoying the weather we are having in the Midwest lately and going to my son's baseball games. When I do encounter my WAW, I am pleasant and she usually is very nice, which makes me miss her but I have laid her at the cross and am moving forward with my life. I do pray for her everyday and for the restoration of my marriage which I have left in the Lord’s hands.

Work has been crazy but I’m more involved with different opportunities and facilitating meetings and leading projects. My boss is even giving my 2 days off in July (don't have to use vacation or personal time) for all my work in June!!

In addition, I am the webmaster for our local little league (my kids are done) but I still like to volunteer with this organization. Now, is the busy time as all-stars are gearing up.

Today, I did a 15+ mile bike ride and my pushup routine. While on my bike ride I realized how at peace I was and generally happy being home with my kids.

This afternoon my parents and I are taking S13 to the movies to see "Up" and S15 is hanging out with his friends. He is not interested in seeing this movie. Well, time to get ready...post more later

Up was an awesome movie, but prepare to cry. It really is not a children's movie. It's just dressed up as one. You will come away from it with your body feeling as if you lifted rocks for days, but so very worth it.

Thanks everyone smile

After the movie, which BTW is awesome (yes cry and laugh lots), we came home and ordered pizza. Then my parents went home and the kids I are trying a new dessert recipe for tomorrow's BBQ. Its called "Layers of Love Chocolate Brownies" with caramel, semi-sweet and white morsels...yummm

After that comes out of the oven, I'm going for a walk with a friend then stopping at the local pub for a cold one for another friend who is in from out of town.

Hope everyone has a safe and fun Independence day!!!

Up was a great movie. But, I did get pretty choked up and nearly lost it in the beginning when the W passes away.

Lucky, for me S13 warned me as he has seen the movie a couple of times now. The hard part for me was watching the couple grow old together as that is what W & I would talk about all the time how we could not wait to be grandparents and grow old together frown

Yep, that's what I meant. The old couple growing old together, then the wife dying. Sort of like something I thought I had. Maybe still will.

This morning watched our local the parade and then did a bike ride. W took S15 out for breakfast S13 didn't want to go. Cleaned the basement a little and then we are heading over to my parents for a BBQ.

Happy 4th of July!!! grin
