Well, friends, I'm turning 40 next month. I'm okay with it, really. Really. really?
My sister offered to burn a CD with all my faves, but I'm having trouble narrowing it down. Just too many memories to fit on one or two CD's, ya know? Not in any particular order...
Sugar Cubes - Happy Birthday
Queen - I Want to Break Free
Radiohead - Creep
Amy Grant - Breath of Heaven
Eurasure - Respect
Annie Lennox - Wonderful
Billy Joel - Scenes from an Italian Restaurant
Johnny Cash - Own Personal Jesus (covering Depeche Mode)

**Oh dear, I can see I'm going to run out of room quickly.

For those that were coherant in the 80's, feel free to lend a hand. I've recently discovered The Strokes, and there's a little Everclear I'd love to add (love that local talent!) No submission is too outrageous, even Johnny Rotten if you must.

Hey Ms. Goldey..

Enjoy life to the fullest before you hit 40. Your teeth fall out, pesky whiskers sprout under your chin, things that were perky droop, your hair thins, you develop lots of those flappy skin tags, plastic surgeons follow you around offering to discount a procedure if you agree to before and after photos, your sex drive goes from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds, you walk taller, smile brighter and relish who you are.

As in life, some things are true, others are not so true and others are just off base. As cliche as it sounds, 40 is a great time.. once you get over you've entered another decade.

*hugs*

Coach, we are of one mind. ;\)
When in Rome - "The Promise"
Doesn't Tenacious D have something that is not too offensive, or is that wishful thinking?
Keep 'em coming, I have to get my 'Top 40' countdown to my sister this week. Peace.
