Confusing signals from ex H

Ok, so after a year and a month or so my exH called me.. totally out of the blue. We spoke for a while about how things are now and that we wanted to be friendly etc. He said he wanted to help me .. however he could and has been in touch with me daily almost.. via phone or email. He is being super super nice. I don't know what to think.. at all.. anyone have any experience with this? He is picking us up at the train station today. We have been apart for a year and divorce is only a couple months away from being final.
