Just pick up the book, Divorce Remedy. I am reading this part of the book that said Think Small. Would like to know does these consider a baby step worth celebrating?

We went out with our baby boy last weekend. (one way we keep in contact) and I make some changes to my approach. Previously I was begging etc. Now we just go out bring our boy for side seeing. (did not read the books last week yet but I just decide not to pressurize her anymore but after I read DR, this is part of beginner mind approach right?)

-She bought me tidbits because she know I don't have much money now.
-She ask me how is my favor soccer team doing now.
-She asked me have I bought my winter wear because I am heading to a business trips.

However on Sunday night, she told me she love the ways we have spend the weekend, nothing but just friend and she hope to remaind this way. I am kind of disappointed after the wonderful weekend we spend.

Her parents keep asking her why she do not want to return back to me till today. Her reply, if she is back, I will be back to what I am in the past. Can anyone advise how should I continue from here?

Lower your EXPECTATIONS.

Yes you have some good signs but then you need to keep up with your changes, THAT HAPPY FACE.

Have you ever considered that your wife may have post partom depression?

Does that change what you feel?
Or what you do?

Give her SPACE to work it out.

I would suggest you keep your thread on newcomers going.

Lower your expectations means to not think something is going to happen because it has in the past.

This is an expectation on her part.
How can you lower her expectations, what changes can you make so she knows that they are real, and you won't go back to your old ways.
